Passing smog/inspection in texas with swap?
Looking to swap a ls into my 2001 mustang but wondering if I can get it inspected and pass having a GM engine in it? I would hate to dump alot of money in it and can't drive it.

In Collin county, they require emissions testing.
Pre construction:
All smog equipment must be in place.
No DTC's on PCM
only one failed readiness check
Gas cap must hold pressure
converters
Evaporative system originally on vehicle
The more you can make it look like a factory install, the easier it is.
My truck has passed 4 times.

Well I live in Harris County in Houston but that's the thing it won't look like a factory engine with twin turbos looking at you when you open the hood. Iam new to the whole swap thing so Iam worried to put alot of money in it and can't drive it because its not factory ect. But there is alot of very fast cars here I don't see how they are passing.
