Jags that run sells a top radiator hose splice, it has a nipple for the steam vent to connect to as well as a bleeder valve for the cooling system...nice piece for sure I have one, also helps you avoid drilling water pump (which I did anyway for a temp gauge sending unit so space was at a premium)

What he said, get one of those or something similar. I used this http://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS+Performan...51155/10002/-1 I drilled and tapped the other side and put a bleeder screw on it, makes life easy filling coolant ad getting air out

You don't have to have the bleeder screw, its nice though. I just bought a hose barb at first for the steam hose, got them at lowes
