when you start wiring up the ac please explain in detail for dummys like me LOL. I am going to try to adapt a ford mod motor compressor to the LS since it mounts in the same spot and almost the same way.

All compressor operate the same, just 2 wire to energize the magnetic clutch.

Yeah he does, he builds chassis and headers for a living. I asked him if he wanted to take this on and he laughed and said "I thought you were gonna give me something hard." He's never built a kit, he's just taking my directions and running with it.

you're making this look way too easy, lol. i missed it what is that ac comp. off of? condenser? accumulator looks like mustang. are you gonna wire a fast idle(or whatever its called) into the computer to keep the motor from stumbling/dying when ac is flipped on at idle? any pics info you can post during the process is greatly appreciated.
this may help you keep costs down plumbing the ac lines I went to get lines made for, mustang with 5.0, but i wanted accumulator in front of the front wheel and relocation of lines that run by pass side header. i had no lines at all. got quoted a ridiculous price everywhere i went. then a small shop told me if i had the end fitting peices he'd do it for x amount. bought used lines and had the small shop set um up for a fraction of prices i had originally been quoted.

I'm running holly efi, and it has an ac input that's definable as to how much the idle will rise, turn on a fan, and all that good stuff.
I'm using a place that specializes in hot rod and custom car ac installs, so that's where I'll have the lines made. They just did some on an ls2 swapped 65 coupe and came out awesome. I think I may go with braided lines. Gonna cost a **** ton I'm sure, but it will look nice and will be ran cleanly.

I'm very keen on that as well. That's why I stressed the pipes going in to the flange to be straight. If you look on the last page you can see there's about 8" of straight going in to the flange, that's where they will go at a 45* angle or closer, then routes back in to the dump. Gonna be tricky with twin gates but he's always well planned out, and listens to my input.

It's a treadstone performance TR1245. Rated for 1000hp. Their site isn't working right now, but that's where I ordered it from. Think it was like $450. I've seen a few guys run them on here with good results. They seem to keep iats in check through the 1/4.
