Default STS v8 Swap

Wondering how difficult and costly it would be to put a 5.3, 5.7 or 6.0 into a 2005 to 2008 cadillac sts? I love the look of the cts but its a little too small so the sts seems like the next best option. Sts-v's are pretty rare and costly so thought maybe i would make my own

They do make the STS-V, which had the LC3 in it, so you should not have problems physically fitting it, but that is assuming on my part that it was modeled after an "LS" motor which it kind of looks like it was.

The STS was available with the 4.4 Northstar v8. I wouldn't necessarily yank that to put in an LS considering they're not that old. They make good power too, but the aftermarket is a little lacking. You could probably even put on a SC from the V-series.

What are your objectives? Just a nice DD with power? Drag sleeper?
