Motor/Trans Question Hey guys. I'm a rookie in the LS swaps, so I have a few questions. I just bought a 67 Camaro this weekend, and I am going to do a LS / 6 speed swap. I'm not wanting to break any records with hp or anything like that. I just want a nice cam, and decent power and reliability. I have a chance to buy this motor/trans, and I was wondering if this is a good combo?? Also what would be a fair price to move the trans with converter as I will be on the hunt for a 6 speed? Thanks for your help in advance.
From a 2000 ss camaro, motor has pat-g 227/230 .640 .605 111lsa cam, texas speed pushrods, prc .650 lift springs, bbk ssi aluminum intake,ported ls6 oil pump,ls2 timing chain,5" underdrive pully,4l60e trans,34-3600stall convertor.
