How big or what size spacers were needed front and rear for the C6Z06 wheels to fit right?
Also, are those OEM wheels off of a "real" z06 or are the repros? Because a lot of repros I see have incorrect offsets to the OE's.
Looks bad *** and yes some Cal-Tracs will really help you hook that up!!!
Thanks, :

Nice truck man! Got a question for you...
I have a similar truck at home. Unfortunately, I lost my driveshaft due to U joint failure at 5,500 RPM in 4th gear the other night. Truck was build for my dad by a local shop. Things that they have 'customized' keep breaking and I keep having to replace them as they do. 6.0 with a T56 and Dirty Dingo mounts.
So my question for you my good man is, what did you do about a driveshaft? I read through the thread and either missed it, or the details weren't there. Just looking at my options before I have a custom one measured. Opinion?

Awesome build man! I'm swapping an LQ9 this weekend into my 92 k1500 that has 350/nv3500. You happen to have the part number for the flywheel bolts, pressure plate bolts and performance throw out bearing you used?

Is the T-56 in yet? I highly recommend you getting a built driveshaft when you put in the T-56. I have a LS1/T-56 1994 silverado and just broke my driveshaft about 4 weeks ago. It broke the tail housing on the T-56, dented a new street performance shock, ruined the slip and pinion yoke. Was about $1,500 in damage. My new complete driveshaft setup comes in next week along with the fixed trans. I went with a Dennys driveshaft pro nitrous ready setup that can handle up to 1,500. Was a good deal.
I love the rims on your truck and have been thinking about doing the same. How much does the rear stick out past the fender?

What brand long tubes?
A month or 2 passed by so i bought whatever was left to finish the build. Since my buddy needed the fbody oil pan we traded and he left me the 6.0 oil pan. I bought the 6.0 oil pick up tube and used the thicker gasket which is green i think. Later that night i installed everything to finish the build, except for the intake manifold, i read the book wrong, set the torque to ft lbs instead of ft in. and boom it snapped. Was scared as heck but i got a screw driver and tapped it out slowly until i got it with the pliers . Couldn't do much because it was late so i called it a night.

Went to the dealer later that week and the intake manifold bolt was $21.60, for 1 single bolt!!! I didn't want to spend that much on a bolt, so I asked if anyone had a spare and this guy told me to ask Cordes Performance and Racing store. So i did and they sent me a intake manifold bolt for free!!! They made my week so much better. Finished the build the next week and ordered myself a wiring harness from Joe Lopez for $400 and a set of LS Swap Schoenfeld headers for $280.

Was it the upper or lower hose?
Thanks man, and nice what mounts did you get? And I'm actually running my stock radiator. Got the 99 truck upper and lower hose and it looks good. Made my own hoses for the heater core. since one of the heater hoses goes to the radiator from the firewall i got a "T" from auto zone and cut the hose and made it go from firewall to water pump and radiator.
