Default 1986 C10 LQ4 build, looking for advise

I finally purchased a 1986 c10 chev (factory v6 4 speed base model) and bought a complete lq4 and 4l80e to swap into the c10. The engine suffered a oil pump failure and spun 3 rod brgs. the engine had 60,000 on it and I plan on doing a basic rebuild on it (fix crank, hone/bore re-ring, headers) I also acquired a set of low mileage 706 heads. The goal is simple, I want a street truck that's reliable and my wife will want to drive, and if its fast that's a plus.

What engine mounts are you using?
Are headers worth it, or manifolds?
Factory radiator, or?
What acc brackets are you running? Oil pan?

I plan on doing a decent size cam (maybe a Z06 cam) and matched stall converter, installing larger intake valves, and looking for a 12 bolt with 3.55 gears. Vintage air and Dakota gauges.

What do you recommend? so far I'm into the whole project 1,300 bucks. Im just trying to cut back on the trial and error. Thanks.

F-body manifolds, LH8 oil pan and i think 3/4" or 1" setback plates will get the motor in the right spot.

i used schoenfeld longtubes and they fit just perfect about an inch from the lower a arm, and shift linkage needs to be re-made, also used a griffin radiator with dual electric fans, stock ac brackets wont work you'll need a high mount or a vintage air front runner kit if you're planning on vintage air already. vintage air has the nicest accessory bracket in my opinion, i did a Texas speed cam with a 224/228 .581/.588 110LSA and its fantastic, I used a 2800-3200 ,converter from circle d in my 4L60E. If you do different accessory drive brackets an intake would make it look more "sporty" if you have any just PM me I just finished my swap also let me know how the vintage air goes in I'd like to see it when it's intalled

Not sure if I will change intakes or not, I've been looking at the hedman headers and the hooker manifolds. I'm getting close to setting the engine and trans in to figure out where I want to set the engine. What ac brackets have you seen being run besides vintage air?

I used the Manzo 2010 Camaro longtube stainless headers. With 1" set back plates they fit really good. Only had to trim a small spot on the frame on the passenger side.
