Turbo 5.3 with t56
Alright guys so I've finally decided what in gunna do with my camaro.
Now I know 6speeds are slower than autos when it comes to boost and higher horsepower, but that's not what I'm going for. Plus I don't think I could imagine life with an automatic since every car I've ever owned, including all my trucks, has been manual.
So my question is does anyone have experience with with turbo 5.3 with a t56? I know it's not going to be too easy as no 5.3s came with a manual tranny so tuning may be an issue.
Also, any shop recommendations around San Antonio area to help with the build? I'm new to Texas and don't really know my way around yet.
Any and all help/comments welcome.

I don't have a 5.3, but a 347. But I am a T56 car still. Nothing like rowing your own gears. A well thought out set up will spool quick and have no lag issues. Tuning won't be an issue at all.

Its very easy, I have a 5.3/T56 setup and im running a 98-02 Fbody clutch setup and tuning is not a problem either.
5.3's are all over here, LS1tech, craigslist and ebay.
