I'm putting a 2010 5.3 vin 0 out of a Tahoe. It has a 3 wire cam sensor on front of timing cover, the problem I have is I ordered a harness from lsx trucks which I've used before and was super pleased with, but the harness I have now has a cam sensor plug with 5 wires, is there anyway to get around this, adapter or something. Harness came with ecm also. Any advice or tips is much appreciated!!!!! Have done ls swaps before just not with this year engine.

I plan on calling lsx trucks Monday morning to ask them, just working on it this weekend and would like to start it up.

there are other solutions, but talk to your harness supplier first
