Default 67 chevelle radiator recommendatios

hello everyone, I'm in the process of building a 6.0 for my 67 Chevelle, this is my first LS swap. I'm an old school small block guy. What I wanted to know from you guys who have done this, is what recommendations do you have for this swap either using scrap yard available parts or aftermarket parts that provide the factory or close to factory mounting, and looks. I need radiator and fan suggestions, thanks in advance for your help.

Hi, I am in process of doing a 67 Lemans, and if the Chevelle rad support is the same the 4gen f-body and radiator and fans will fit with some minor modification.

Just about any Radiator that will fit will work as long as it was spec'd out to cool a V8. The only issue you might run into is the upper Radiator inlet, it might be larger that the LSx size ( 1 1/2" vs 1 5/8" if I recall). You might need a reducer or a hose that has the correct size on both ends of the hose.

I used an eBay Alum direct replacement and it had a duel sized upper Radiator inlet (it had a necked down port) and also had a threaded port that I was able to use for the Steam vent to connect to.

On my Nova I was able to mod a 4th Gen F-Body set up so that bolt up to the engine without any issue and only took some minor modifying to bolt up to the Radiator support. So it is a good setup to start with if you got it with the engine or from a JY.

I used an AFCO direct fit for a chevelle and both the inlet and outlet are on the same side leaving it easier to plumb in your air intake air.look through my thread to see it JOHN

I used the '98 Z28 radiator and fans in my swap. It is working great.http://s1021.photobucket.com/user/bj...tml?sort=6&o=5

I fabricated an upper and lower mounting for this to work.
