Brand New to LS engines and I'm doing a swap in to my 73 Camaro. I have a 5.3 out of an 06 single cab Silverado with only 40k miles. Im using the truck brackets/accessories. Going to be getting an f-body oil pan and hopefully an LS6 intake. The only thing im doing before the engine goes in is a cam swap and oil pan swap while it's out.

Anybody have any Tips or Suggestions or just help in general to make this swap easier?

I have a source for ipd lowering springs, bilstein shocks/struts, ipd front and rear sways, and a few other knick knacks. What I want to do is start planning a full engine swap and better brakes, along with a replacement transmission to go with it. Budget is a factor, so nothing as crazy awesome as the Volvo pictured above unfortunately. Still needs to function as a daily, and still needs an auto because the wife doesn't like driving a manual.
