Default 6.0 lq4 TO th400, need help?

i have a 2001 lq4 connected to a th400. i have the flat flexplate and spacer. i also am using the stock th400 converter that is the correct diameter to go to lq4 flexplate holes. i think its like 11.5 diameter. anyways......Do i need to also buy this trq converter snout adapter or not? http://www.summitracing.com/parts/hup-hp3795/overview/
