Default 1990 Mustang GT with 4.8 and 4l60 project

I bought two mustang GTs a few weeks ago for under 1k bucks. One is a 1990 hardtop with black interior and the other is a 1989 convertible that I got with it as a donor car. Neither has a motor or trans which makes them perfect for the 4.8 I have sitting in the garage with a 4l60e trans. Needs a lot of cleaning and probably a bug bomb for the spiders.

Initial plan is to clean them up and put together a parts list of things to sell. I want to get the parts off of the vert and onto the 90 GT soon so I can have more room once the vert is gone. Both were stored outside so I am sure a lot of scrubbing with water and suds will be necessary.

I got two 4.8l motors that were gen iv blocks with 799 heads for around 500. Both were from 08 trucks. I just one set of heads and then the block and ended up recouping my money back for both motors. I have a AJE k member in the garage I picked up for around 200. General plans are to keep motor stock for now. I looked at cams and spring upgrades and with a tune would be around $1000 total but the HP rating will be well worth it. Just need to see where I am at when the motor goes in.
Enjoy:

The LS motor is the best bolt on for a foxbody Mustang. The old 5.0 was good in its day, but cannot compete with the LS. You are going to love it. Good luck with the build.

I am excited to start on it. Kinda going to be slow at first because i have to deal with the donor car being in the way. I have a lot of parts stock piled and ready to drop motor in but i want to yank whatever i dont need out and clean up the engine bay.
