Default lq9 starter help

I just dropped a 2003 lq9 from a escalade in my cutlass and would like to know what starter are you guys using and how are you hooking them up. I have the starter that came with the engine just wasn't sure if it would work or not

As long as it meshes with the flywheel you are using, that's the starter you want to use,
lightweight and good torque.Use your existing starter circuit wire, get rid of the resistor
bypass wire if your car originally came with point ignition.

I'm using a stock replacement (for the LQ4 I'm using).... no reason you can't use the one you have....unless it's bad.
Wires up the same.
