no WOT
I have a 91 Corvette... the specs.
built/forged 5.3 347 iron block with 241 heads
MS3 cam
237/242, .603"/.609", 113 LSA
LS6 Intake
Wiring harness and PCM from a 99 Z28 tuned for the set up.
Some times It will not go WOT. I have tightened the cable and it seem to have made it worse. I drove it to work this morning and after I got on the highway I floored it several times in a 10 mile run and it never went WOT.
What am I looking for TPS..Tune? Please give me some direction.
Thanks

I'm confused, please define "Some times It will not go WOT." That could mean at least three things to me:
Those three different things could have three different directions for troubleshooting and solutions.
- The engine feels flat and / or doesn't rev when you floor it.
- When you data log the engine the throttle percent is less than 100 on drive by cable and 88 for drive by wire.
- It isn't meeting the criteria for WOT in the tune.

You gave me an idea. I dont have anything to dtalog with but I do have a Preadtor for my GTO.
I plugged it in and monitoring my TP angle I slowly worked it to %100 then I jiggled the connector and wirring to test for a bad connection.
So far it looks good. I also took it for a ride and went WOT while watching the TP angle. It worked but I was not able to duplicate the problem so I cant say what the TP angle is when it happens.
The plan now is to leave it plugged in for the next time it happens.

I tried a new TPS and it makes no difference. I'm starting to thing it's a tune issue. I have had it tuned 3 times now. I think its time I learned how.
It feels like it maybe bogging at WOT(too much fuel). If you slowly depress the pedal or drive around normally it is not noticeable at all.
