I've got 1" setback plates and an lq4 with a 4l80e.
I'd like to avoid the lokar transmission dipstick and was looking at the tci dipstick.
Has anyone used this in a 3rd gen nova or first gen camaro? And have pictures where it fits the bellhousing and firewall?

I grabbed a small ball peen hammer and spent about 30 seconds making room for the stock dipstick. No complaints.

I've got a build thread in the forced induction section. Its about as picture intensive as yours. It was one of the last picture updates I made in that thread.

Hey man, thanks for the info and pictures. I think I might try the tci tube eventually. I have just as scarce of firewall clearance as you do.

It looks as though our builds are really similar and almost at the same pace. I'm taking my engine to the machine shop this week and then I get to start final assembly after some big electrical projects with the ecu.
I dig that procomp chassis harness. I may try that one out before its all said and done.
