Guys with 4l80e trans ever get a p0976 code??
I'm down to 2 codes, the p0700 TCM malfunction and the p0976 Shift solenoid B circuit low. My transmission main harness connector (the large circle connector) seemed to be a little beat up from the last user so maybe the pins are not working how they are supposed to be, than setting the code. So I went ahead and got my dad to order one from GM from his dealer. If that does not fix the problem, I was thinking maybe replacing the 1-2 shift solenoid B and see if that fixes it.
The car was up on jackstands and we tried to see if it would even shift, and nope, it did not shift at all. Which now is making sense why it would click the shifter into all gears except R and engage it.
I am really trying to get this thing on the road and was hoping for Cruise week, .....still have a glimmer of hope but I really need some help!!

Anyone have any input? We installed a new trans harness inside the pan since the main connector was gummy up. And we replaced the shift solenoid B (1-2 shift) with same results......
Anyone?

What year of engine are you working on? I would try ohming the wire for the shift solenoid B, between the trans connector and the PCM. If it has good continuity, then make sure it's not shorted to ground or power. Also make sure the trans has power at the big round connector.
