ive got a customer with a 80 elcamino and a lq9 that he wants me to install and change heads and cam and I was wondering whos had the best performance from heads and cam and what they used? hes goin with brp hot rod swap kit with 1 7/8 longtubes turbo350 trans and 3.73 gear. just tryn to figure out what heads to use ( he wants to spend 2k or less on) wants it setup for hp with maybe a 150 shot every now and then! hes going to drive it a lot so has to run on 93 or less and make the most power he can with heads and cam stock bottom end lq9! if anybodys got a setup close to this what kinda 1/8 mile times do yall go? also who has the best standalone harness for this car? he wants to use stock gauges but I don't see that being a problem just have to order rite adaptors for his sensors.
