I get some flack for using a low mile GN, but I really wanted a good starting point that was unmolested, rust free and just new. I figured if I bought one with 70-90k miles, I would be doing so many other little projects to get it mint that it would end up costing about the same in the end.

Can't wait to see it run, good luck.

It will have a turbo(s) in the factory location(might be twins). The turbo(s) will be in upper pass position. Both will have water to air intercoolers.

The mounts attached to the engine are F-body mounts and the frame brackets are spohn. It actually bolted right in with a G-Force 4L80E crossmember. Just had to do the frame notch for the A/C compressor. I need the compressor mounted lower due to the location of the turbo(s) will be on the upper pass side.

Yes, either small twins or a single turbo before the supercharger. Forced Induction Tuning here in Phoenix has been doing the combination for years with amazing results. Zero lag and about 950hp/tq. I would prefer about 750hp/tq due to what I can transfer to the ground...

MAN I always wanted a GN(still do). Long nose, short deck, all business but beautifully angular/muscular at the same time. And black, of course. This is going to be a sweet ride. Hell, it's cooler than anything I have before you even get it finished!
So are the guys on the GN forums wanting to murder you for cutting on a 4600 mile car?

Thx guys.
Some of the guys like the build at the turbo buick forum and other have other opinions too. I figure why not do what I want to it. I graduated high school in 1987 and the GN was "the" car with the whoa factor back then. I guess this car always stuck in my head and now I'm in my midelife... lol

@Jimbo agreed. It's humorous how bent out of shape those guys get though which is why I asked. You might get me a bit bothered if you started hacking the body up significantly but I say as long as you retain the "soul" of the original then go nuts.
I'm a little behind you but give me 6-10 years and I'm sure I'll be back in here asking you guys how to mate the LS9 to the AWD setup in a Cyclone or Typhoon. Yep, I am sure it's already out there and I don't want to know where...yet. I need that 6-10 to save some $$ before I start drooling over my next project.
