Need some advice on new build I want to build a fox body coupe with and ls engine in it and a turbo 350 or th400 transmission in it but I'm trying to figure out what car would work best for the transplant. Is there any year that will work better? Will an automatic be better than a manual since I'm going with an automatic trans? Will a 4 cylinder mustang work just as well as a V8 for the swap?

There are quite a few fox body build threads on here. I'm not sure what your search results turned up, but just browse through a couple of pages and you'll find them. I believe that the engine compartment size was the same regardless of the motor, so it should not be an issue that the car you are looking at is a 4 banger.

I've been doing lots of searching on here and found most of the info I need for the swap I just wanted to see what fox would make for an easier swap. Like would an automatic car work out better since it already has the 2 pedals only and it's slotted for an auto transmission were the shifter is?
