Default old school hot rodder

im new to the ls world ,id like to put a ls w/ standard in my 69 amx . give me some ideas and pointers.thanks

There's a saved posting with all items needed. Will need 621 chevy bellhousing, 4.8 truck flywheel, ls7 pilot bushing, and BBC clutch, pressure plate throw out bearing. This is off top of my head so please review saved post.

Start by researching which oil pan closely resembles the 360 pan to fit your cross member. Then decide whether your are using a modern trans such as a t56 or you are going to adapt a old school super t10 or Muncie. Since there are not many AMX's or Javelins with ls power, Research a vehicle that has an engine bay that closely resembles yours. Then plan on adding extra time and money to your budget for the unexpected or custom parts.
