5.3 steering pump to 500 gear box
i need a line going from my 5.3 steering pump to my 500 box on my 1955 chevy. the gear box in 11/16 -18 inv flare, i don't know what the fitting in on the pump pressure side. is there a kit for this or do i need to adapt the pump fitting

I assume you're is similar to 60s GM boxes.
Your options:
The high pressure fitting on the back of the power steering pump can be unscrewed and swapped. You can use your original hoses then.
Or you can use the metric hose, cut the end off that goes to the box, put on an inverted flair fitting and double flair it.
Or theres a company (Lee?) that makes an insert to allow you to mix fittings.
Or you can get metric/inverted flair to JIC adapters (Speedway motors) and make your own hose.
