Take a look at MSD's 32813 or 32819 part numbers. I had a bunch of recommendations on them when I was looking. One of the numbers is red & the other black. Don't recall which is which. I went with the red ones.

These are a good deal if you need plugs too. I ordered a set for mine.

Nice car you have there. Did you end up using a 4th-gen F-body alternator?

Thanks Tod, Yes I did. I actually had an extra replacement alternator for my 1998 k2500 laying around, and as it turned out it was the same as an f body.

The gto Alternator might have cleared but the dust cap would have been right against the steering box.

Jason,

What did you use for your fresh air intake? By the way, I'm Jose from MonteCarloSS.com, working on my '87 LS2 swap.

Your car is looking real good...sharp and clean!

I ended up heating the line up and benign it until it would fit.

From the throttle body to the MAF sensor is stock 06 gto. I used a spectre 4" silicone coupler and a piece of new 4" exhaust with a 90* bend in it I had from one of my diesel truck exhaust kits. Trimmed it to fit and welded a mounting tab on it to bolt it go the core support and painted it flat black. Used a k&n filter that was $40 shipped from Jegs.

Got the VAT's deleted and car started right up. Still needs more fine tuning but at least its running now. Idling at 950, I wouldnt mind lowering it a bit to get some more sound.

Thanks Bill, I'm going to need to order another harness from you soon. I'm starting an ls1/t 56 in my buddy's Camaro right now.

Robbed the calipers off of my donor car, supposedly the same caliper as a c6 with out the corvette emblem. I thin had a friend turn my stock rotors downinto hubs, and press in the longer wheel studs. I had to use ls1 camaro rotors/caliper brackets but it was a simple swap I did all together for under $250.

Now that I have my car all back together, it looks like I need to pull the t56 I bought from another member on this forum. Trans doesnt want to go into 1st gear and sometimes second unless I shift to another gear first. Seems like bad syncros? In hind sight I should have bought the parts and just converted my lt1 t56 I just had gone through.

I dont think its my hydraulics, I have a tick speed bleeder and my pedal feels good.

Been driving the car, have a few hundred miles on it and love it. I'm hoping on friday to get it to the 1/8th mile and see what it will run. Hopefully I can beat my old 383's 7.80 at 90 mph.
Also ordered 4.30 gears to replace the 3.73's. Should be going through the rear end in another week or two.

Over all loving the ls power and efi.
