Default Need info: low profile intake for our 5.3L truck engine

We are putting a 5.3L complete pullout engine and tranny from a 2004 Tahoe into a 69' Chevelle.

We want to replace the tall intake with a lower profile intake - ideally from salvage.

Need to know specifically what parts to source (new, salvage etc...).

Make and Year X to Y and TYPE of intake
Year X to Y injector rails ??? (or whatever).
Etc...

Can anyone list exactly what is needed to swap on a lower profile intake and required changes/modifications?

Thanks for all your help.

Here is are a couple links.

LS6 intake swap

Looks like the easiest way is to get the intake, fuel injectors and rails, however it looks like you can also make your own setup using truck injectors and aftermarket rails. The other thing to consider is that the waterpumps and throttle bodies are different between cars and trucks, so keep in mind that you may need to modify the waterpump or replace it with a car one if your throttle interferes with it.

Here's a list of most of the car intakes, keep in mind that the newer the intake, the more likely it has square ports (L92/LS3) instead of the cathedral ports (LM7/L33/LQx/LS1/LS6) so you're best bet would be to get an LS1/6 intake as those years that you know will bolt onto the cathedral port heads. If you can fit the truck intake, it flows pretty well for torque, but I do believe the LS6 flows the best, even more then the LS2.

LS1
97'-04' Corvette
98'-02' F-Body
04' GTO

LS6
01'-04' Vette Z06
04'-05' CTS-V

LS2
05'-06' GTO
05'-07' Corvette
06'-08' CTS-V
06'-08' TBSS
08'-09' Saab 9-7x

if its the looks of intake you can shave the garbage off. truck intake looks good after shaving, painting it.
