Default LS1 radiator swap into 70?

I have a 70 camaro and am installing the LS1 and 6 speed out of a 98 z into it.
I am trying to use as many parts as possible.

I plan on using the fan and was hoping to use the radiator as well. Has anyone done this and can give any input on this swap?

I am not sure about fitment or wiring, and would like any info anyone has to offer. Thank you.

Eric

Sticking this here in the conversions section.

I highly doubt the 4th gen radiator will fit, use the original radiator.

most Gm Camaro/ nova/chevelle and such usually have a 19 inch tall radiator in them. its usually measure to see how wide a radiator you can get in your support. then mounting however you want for top bracket or cover plate. same thing with a shroud. I have a 98-02 ls1 radiator in my 76 skylark. It was narrower than my stock radiator was but went with it as it holds the electric fans. It cooled a ls1 so it should be fine with my 5.3 engine.

Default Radiators

There are good, direct-fit ls-swap rads for that car!
