Need purchase advice 6.0 Have the opportunity to buy (from a salvage) a low mile 6.0 out of a 2005 Hummer. The engine will come with all accessories and wiring harness, but they aren't sure if they will have the original ecm or throttle pedal assembly (tac module?). They said they will supply an ecm out of a different vehicle if they don't have the original and I guess they would include a tac module out of a different vehicle too.
What issues will I encounter with a different ecm and tac module?
I have been searching and, best I can tell, the 2005 hummer did not have VVT or AFM and would have come with an LQ4, is that correct??
