Default Oil Pressure Gauge

Does anyone know of an oil pressure gauge that would work with the original sending unit. I'm looking into gauges not and was just wondering if anyone knew of one that would not require a new sending unit.

Whats the car & motor dealing with? You should be able to use the original sender from car and get an adapter to install to engine. Ls engine is metric and your sender probably 1/8 pipe thread? Ls engines hav a piece above oil filter thats held on with 2 bolts. You can take that off & drill/tap it for sender as well.

I have a ls1 from a 98 camaro and it is in a 84 monte carlo. I see the adapter Part number 2277 1\8 NPT TO M12x1.5 but I'm unsure if that is for the oil pressure or temp sensor.

Hell on my 4.8 I just took the factory sending unit off and broke all the plastic and stuff out of it with a hammer then tapped the inside of it 1/8"npt, threaded a 45deg into it the then my autometer sender into the 45 and then put it back in the factory location behind the intake. Can kinda see it here (gold thing by firewall is autometer sending unit)

I put in a metric to 1/8 npt adapter at the stock ls location and used a Vdo 1/8 npt sender with vdo gauges. I also used a corvette fitting in the spot above the oil filter, which was pre-tapped for a sending unit, to connect up an oil temp gauge. Either location would be good for an oil pressure sensor.
