Default Found a Cruise Control That Works w/GenIV DBW

After doing much research on stand-alone DBW CC and how it doesn't seem to work on these applications, I contacted rostra.com and they put me touch with one of their distributors, thecruisecontrolstore.com.

This is what they say will work. It seems very straight forward. It interfaces with the throttle control and just needs a very specific 4000 PPM VSS, (according to the Cruise Control Store), along with all the basic connections. There is a link to the installation instructions too.

What do you all think?

OEM GM stalks from the 80's and 90's work fine with GEN III DBW cruise and DBC using the digital box

Its GEN IV ECMs that dont jive well without a BCM. Spanky's unit is the only solution for that so far. I doubt this box would be much help with GEN IV ECMs since there are several hoops to jump through to even get 4,000ppm signal from them

You can get cruise control with the Gen IV system.

You just need to use the E67 ECM, and not many companies will build an E67 harness.

We build them for the guys and gals that are set on wanting cruise control!

This is a simpler and much cheaper course than using an extra module. The Positive side is also-Cruise is just a 4 wire hookup.

Bill,

Can you elaborate more on how this can be made to work and what is needed?
