Default Dbw to dbc with 4150tb

Im looking to convert my dbw trottle body to cable using a 4150 tb. Is there any reason i would need the iac for it to run right? I know my ecm doesnt have the stepper motor and i really dont want to buy more credits for a cable ecm. Thanks.

There are adapters that will mate a DBW TB to a 4150 style intake. Mast makes one.

I have my 3 bolt dbw mounted to a super vic, but i was wanting to go to a bigger throttle body. and for the price of a big dbw throttle body its be cheaper to get a 4150.

So what's wrong with the set-up above?

You really need an IAC. The 4150 style throttle bodies all use one, and I think you'll have a hard time idling without it.

Do you want the bigger TB because you'r spraying it?

Im just wanting it to be more responsive. I guess this throttle body should be more than enough?

Does the stock ECU have a table that allows you to change the rate at which the TB opens based on a % of pedal travel? I know the Dominator ECU has this, but not sure about stock.

If it does, then you can make it feel more responsive by playing around with that table.

As far as total flow, I would think it's fine.
