Car fires then dies (neutral safety?)

Car fires then dies (neutral safety?) So im finishing up my car and wanted to fire it on the 3 bar OS (efilive) and hear it run before putting the trans in, incase something is not working right (used motor). Ive been battling with the car firing up then dying right away. I have had it run maybe for 10 seconds tops.
it just occurred to me that I havnt hooked the Neutral safety wire up yet since I havnt even got the trans in.
Engine is swapped into a 3rd gen so the starter control is done by the body harness.
Does this sound like an issue of it not seeing a grounded switch for neutral? Does it cut fuel or spark? It almost seems like it fires and maybe dies after all the fuel is out of the rails?
Either way Ill test it with it grounded when I get home. Its been driving me nuts all day lol.
