Just a little delayed for more updates. Decided that it was best to have the fitting for the turbo return welded to the oil pan instead, so that took some back-tracking.
Had to remove quite a bit in order to get the pan out and have it welded. But that's all being put back together this weekend.

I am curious, what ceramic coating product did you use, or, did you have your parts professionally coated by someone? It sure looks nice, and I am looking for something like that, that hopefully, will hold up!

Little update....not a lot left.

Turns out the fuel lines I bought aren't PTFE lines, so we ordered new ones to replace with. Those should be here next week.
This weekend the steering rack, shifter cable, and a couple other little odds and ends things will be put back on. Other than that, all that's really left is all the needed wiring (gauges, pumps, fans, ecu, injectors, etc.).

Very excited to be this close.

It will come! It's always something that's popping up with this car, so I'm hoping that won't be the case and it's actually almost done

I currently have plans to do a very similar build in my Fox but with a 5.3. Do you have any more information on the wiring?

Awesome build btw!

I don't have any info on that at this time. That's one of the last things that needs to be done and I'm having my friend's shop tackle the wiring part of it since he's doing the tuning too.

Thank you!!!

Damn, I might need your help with an NA 5.3L swap into an 89 Coupe I am thinking about buying. I'm in Austin as well.
