Default Fuel rail hoses

Considering the Holley fuel rails for an aesthetic upgrade on my LS2. Want everything to be black and they only offer silver braided hose in the full kit.

Do I just buy some black braided hose and earls fittings and make them myself, or is it better to have them put together by a professional?

Thanks!

Nothing wrong with putting them together yourself if your comfortable doing it.

The braided hose that is included with the kit is a teflon lined hose. Earl's doesn't make a black braided PTFE hose. One thing you can do is use heat shrink tubing over the stainless braided hose. I've done that before and if you cut the ends of the heat shrink really nicely, it looks really good.

If you use Aeroquip Startlite hose its very easy to work with compared to stainless braided hose.
