LS2 Trailblazer engine into 1995 Trans am?
Hello all,
I was curious if anyone has some info in regards to swapping out the riveting LT1 lol out of my 1995 Trans Am and replacing it with the Trailblazers LS2?
I know very little on the LS2, but swapping it in the Trans Am I'm pretty sure I will need an LS1 bell housing (As I have the T56) motor mounts and what else?!?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I got a really good deal on the motor with only 120,000 km on it.

Along with everything else that's required to swap an LSx engine into your chassis, that TBSS LS2 will also require that you swap the intake manifold, oil pan and front end accessory drive (FEAD) . The LS2 you have is essentially the same as the LS2 found in the in the 2005 Corvette and 2005-2006 GTO, but yours is the truck version. The components listed above are different on the truck engines and will not fit in your 1995 F-Body.
If you were looking to swap that engine into something with lots of room under the hood, it would be fine as it sits.
