99-02 Camaro Pump mounting Hey guys. Doing a 5.3L swap on my 71 240Z. Plan on using the OEM 99-02 camaro pump since my tank is in good health and not baffled. Does the pump bucket itself need to sit on the bottom of the tank? I will be using the Vetteworks adapter plate, and the height from the under side of pump mounting plate is 11 and an eight. My tank as it sits is 11 and five eights roughly. Is that too much or not enough room for the pump? The sending unit arm does not surpass the bottom of the bucket when fully lowered, so I am assuming it does not need more height in the tank. Thanks guys. Hope this wasn't too muddy of a question .
