Default First gen f-body swappers, where are you mounting the PCM?

In a bit of a spot here as I only have the shell to work with and we are pushing forward looking to tuck the harnesses in nice and clean and fire this thing. I want to mount the PCM under the dash on the drivers side if possible but all I have now is the column.... no ducting, no controls, and im worried it will not fit as its tight under there. So i thought to reach out to the experts to see what you all might suggest? First gen LS1/4L80 411 PCM. Pics and/or links would be GREAT i searched but didnt find much.

Thanks all

on my '67 Firebird I have mine in the inside passenger side firewall. I'm not running any heater/ ac, etc so there is plenty of room on this side. Agreed I think it'd be tight on the driver side with the pedals in the way.

I have mine in the space behind the kick panel on the passenger side. Plenty of room and you can route your harness low enough to still have room for ac/heat

We were hoping to get it interior mounted just for clean factor. Without the ducting and pedals and whatnot its a crap shoot hence this thread. The car is getting a heater and we want to retain the glove box. Pass side kick panel sounds good, got any pics by chance? Thanks fellas
