Default Best 4L80E harness / combo to start with

I've been looking for a Engine/Trans combo with harness that would include 4L80E and the PCM and harness to run it correctly. I found one locally but it's a 99 (iron heads) and has 200k miles. Not exactly excited about it. I'm wondering those who have gone down this path with the 4L80E, how did you make it work best with your LS swap? I'm on a budget and it seems a lot of standalone controllers can be pricey. And if I go with a 5.3, it will likely be programed with a 4L60e and I'm not sure if it should stay programmed that way and not connected?

i'm putting this in my 71 Chevelle and will put down some HP with twin turbos once all is done so I want the 80E.

Thanks!
Joe

You know you can always do a head swap right? If the price is right why not pull the trigger? But should you find a 5.3, the pcm can always be tuned for an 80e. And there are companies that make the 60e to 80e conversion connectors. If you ****** up that uron headed combo, send a pm to aknovaman here on the forum, he can mod your harness and pcm for way cheaper than what a PSI will cost.
