Default E38 and cable driven throttle body

Ive googled it for a while and older threads have said it isnt doable but is there anything recently that allows it?

Reason Im asking, I came across a harness and ECU that would work for my swap, but I dont want to use a DBW cable due to having to pedal and TAC module bullshit.

The E38 is set up exclusively for DBW throttles. The E38 is also set up so you dont need a TAC module, just the correct pedal and TB. Either way, I am pretty sure it going to be a PIA to convert any GENIV 58x to a cable throttle. The easiest way would be to get a 58x to 24x converter box and run an older ECM.

Not wanting to run a 24 to 58 box, either, but that's good to know all I'll need is a pedal and a throttle body!

Just make sure the pedal matches the OS just in case.
