Have a couple small wiring questions So I'm reworking my engine harness for a manual transmission application. I followed lt1swap.com for a lot of the work, but I'm left with a couple questions I couldn't find an answer to.
1. Is there a built in neutral safety switch that I need to hardwire around or have programmed out of the pcm?
2. After removing the pcm wires that are transmission related and lt1swap says can be removed, I have 1 wire left in each of the transmission range sensors. Can these plugs and wires be eliminated?
The car is a torque-tube/transaxle design and the reverse lights switch will remain in the factory wiring at the back of the car.
