Question Overcoming CANBUS in an LS swap into a Genesis Coupe

Looking for some information from anyone that has done an LS swap into a CANBUS vehicle. I'm getting ready to swap in an LSx into a Genesis coupe but I am having trouble finding much in terms of wiring and how to integrate into the rest of the vehicle. I'd like to have all factory functions work after the install.

I've done a few swaps in vehicles without CANBUS so I'm comfortable doing my own wiring. I have the pinouts for the Genesis coupe and have access to the pinouts to whichever engine I end up with (haven't bought one yet).

I've seen some of the RX8 guys have successfully overcome the CANBUS, so I'm wondering if the process would be similar or the same?

Any input or advice would be greatly appreciated.

There is a guy on Bimmerforums with user name of Thaniel. He is doing a ton of work on BMW can-bus solutions. He is going to do a relatively simple can-bus to analog converter box for me to utilize my OE a/c switch on a BMW LS swap. It would be worth contacting him. I'm not sure if he is on LS1Tech or not.

I've done my 2003 Porsche 911. I used both the GM and the Porsche Oil Pressure and the water temp sensors. The Tach was the same just spliced the Porsche into the GM. The Cruise control will not work, neither will the Porsche Stability management system, because the Porsche computer can no longer control the motor. I get 5 warnings on start up from the Porsche computer that are easily canceled by toggling the control stick, takes about 8 seconds. The cooling fans turn on as normal. I removed the Porsche check engine light. The starter uses the stock wiring from the car. hope that helps a little.
