Fuel system question for 240sx LS1 swap
I am getting close to finishing my ls1 swap for my 240sx, it has fast 102/92, ms3 cam, ported 243 heads, fast 42 pound injectors, and supporting mods.
The stock fuel lines coming from the in tank walbro 255 pump and out of the tank are 5/16 (about 4 feet of fuel line). Will this be enough to supply the engine at 400-450hp without fuel cutout? Would I be able to put an adapter from 5/16 to 3/8 and run a few feet (or more if it helps) of 3/8 to the corvette fuel filter?
My father in law thinks we will need to drop the tank and replace the stock hose with 3/8 but I have not heard about it being neccesary with the swap. I figure if anything having the adapter to 3/8 would give the volume necessary when getting stepping on it.
Thanks for the help
