Honestly don't even know if we need to use it.

Presumably it is being used as part of the fueling strategy. The Holley HP and Dominator ECUs have built in barometers...

Actually if you look there is 3. 1 in the lid, 1 baro and one on the snout behind the throttle body. On the 2010 2500HD I swapped all I used was the one in the lid. I'm doing a 69 chevelle with an LSA blown LY6 6.0L and a 4l80. Motor is done and I am about to drop it into the chassis. I've been watching this one closely...

This swap is actually pretty easy thanks to Toddoky and Holley making the kit. Just very time consuming!

The Monte Carlo SS pedal is a much better option to use than the Vette pedal. 1 hole line up with the factory mount. Will just drill and install another stud and get it mounted up.

Griffin "Direct Fit" radiator mocked up. Whoever named this as a "direct fit" is a dumbass. A lot of grinding and cutting had to be done to get this to fit. Not overly thrilled with the fitament. Look elsewhere if you're looking for something that fits well.

That's exactly what I did on my GTO. Used one existing hole that used to hold the stock pedal and then added another new hole. Simple...

Pics of the 'mods' we had to do to get that piece of sh*t Griffin radiator to fit. And even then it 'fits' like crap. If anyone else is doing a swap like this, do yourself a favor and spend a little more and buy a DeWitt's. Wishing I did!

Sorry to hear about the radiator troubles! The "direct fit" stuff seems to be hit and miss, so generally I just get the cheap universal radiators and just make it work...I got the radiator for the Cougar from Speedway for 130 bucks. The size was right, but I welded my own fan mounts and also changed the bottom hose to 1.5" instead of 1.75".

Thanks. Yes, they need to remove that "Direct Fit" moniker. It's total false advertising! Should have saved money!

We've never had a good experience with griffin.. Wait till the tanks leak all over your fresh paint and ruin your hard work.

They have Direct Fit and Exact Fit (nice, lol). I sent mine back. Either a Ron Davis or Dewitt's for me I guess.

I'm sending mine back too! Does Ron Davis have an LS swap radiator for Chevelle?

Yes, at about $1,300 to $1,400. There's the Entropy one as well (you mentioned that one in a PM). Worth a shot.

My only concern with Dewitts's radiator is the small fan setup on them (only 2,700 CFM or thereabouts). I do like the black finish they offer and the passenger side trans cooler setup. Price is around $1,200. Toss up at that point between them and Ron Davis' radiator. Entropy is $400 or so less, but don't know their rep yet (long term quality/reliability).

All that sounds like crazy money. I'd get a generic aluminum radiator that matches for size and take it from there...There are a ton of awesome OEM fans that are inexpensive. I'd look at the C6 corvette fan and also see about using the C6 fan controller and rewire the ECU to run the fan in PWM mode instead of just on/off. With the money you save look at a good Earl's cooler for the trans.

Call CG&J radiator with dimensions and they will make you one for around $600. For my '69 Chevelle I got a massive 3 core dual pass alum made and it took around a week. Very nice quality and all hand welded. I run a Ford Taurus 4000cfm efan

Instead of drilling new holes in the firewall for the pedal, we decided to use the old bracket as a template and make a new one to mount the pedal on. Worked out great!
