Anyone LS swapped a Ford Ranger/Mazda B series?
I daily drive a 1997 Mazda B2300 with 205k miles on the stock 2.3 4 banger. It's still going strong for now but I know it won't last a whole lot longer and I'm also unsure how long the trans will last. So anyways I thought "why not LS swap it I'm sure there's kits and probably a ton of people have done it". But to my surprise I can't find any kits and very minimal information on various forums... So has anyone here done this? I'm thinking a 4.8/5.3 with bolt ons and a mild cam going into the 4L60e or 4L80e. Nothing crazy, want to keep things very mild as this will remain my daily driver.
So I'm not really sure what to do or where to start since there's so little information and this is my first LS swap. Step by step guides, parts lists or suggestions, and all other helpful information is much appreciated.

I can't say I've seen an LS Ranger swap, but I have seen 4.6 swaps. So, if there are 4.6 mounts out there, one could possibly use an LS Mustang conversion mount in it's place and go from there?

I thought about maybe using mustang LS swap mounts but not sure if they'd work. I'm not wanting to do too much trial and error here since this isn't some crazy build I just want a new engine in my daily. If it's going to be a whole lot of guess work and trail and error I guess I should consider just getting a newer truck.
