Default 2002 LS1 PCM programming - fuel gauge

I have a quick question for those who are familiar with tuning the Gen LS motors. I have 2002 LS6 in my Datsun 280Z and am integrating the 2002 Corvette instrument cluster into the car where the fuel gauge is obviously controlled by the PCM. I have read that the values for the fuel gauge can be adjusted to work with other fuel senders. The thing that I need to know is if you can reverse the values (High/low) when a sender runs opposite ohm range than the GM sender?

Datsun fuel gauge
Empty: 95 ohms
Full: 5 ohms

GM fuel gauge
Empty: 40 ohms
Full: 251 ohms

Can these Datsun values be programmed into the PCM and have the gauge read correctly or does something else need to be done to achieve this? Many thanks!

I ran into a similar issue doing an E39 BMW swap. You can check out this thread to see how I got around the sender problem.

Not exactly straight forward . Hopefully there's a simpler way via HP Tuner.

Yes you can do that and it will work fine. I have done it several times.
