1987 Bmw 325 - LSx drag car
Full drag setup. talking tubbed, tube chassis, ladder bar suspension, 383 stroker etc
Our donor car is a clean title 1987 325e. Previously had a manual swap done. Gutting the whole car, no a/c, no p/s, no radio and speakers. Its a sunroof car so all that cut out. Fiberglass sunroof fover, lexan windows and rear glass.
Main goal is to click off a low 8 sec pass, in a full 6 speed with clutch.
Motor is a gen 3 5.3 block. Bored to 3.903. K1 4" crank, k1 rods, wiseco pistons. Total seal rings, arp rod bolts, mains, head studs. 317 heads ported, manley valves, btr springs and retainers, ls7 lifters and trays, trunion upgrade, btr pushrods.

Essentially what u said, not done often. See if cant make some waves in the stick shift world. My local track has some class racing for just manuals as well. I have a nitrous auto and a turbo auto car already. Can always switch it over if i need to down the road.
