Default 1987 Bmw 325 - LSx drag car

Full drag setup. talking tubbed, tube chassis, ladder bar suspension, 383 stroker etc

Main goal is to click off a low 8 sec pass, in a full 6 speed with clutch.

Motor is a gen 3 5.3 block. Bored to 3.903. K1 4" crank, k1 rods, wiseco pistons. Total seal rings, arp rod bolts, mains, head studs. 317 heads ported, manley valves, btr springs and retainers, ls7 lifters and trays, trunion upgrade, btr pushrods.

Looks like a cool build. Is there a power adder I missed? I am just curious based on your qtr mile goals.

Direct port is jetted for a 300 right now. Car is extremely light.

Do you have a weight Goal? I am starting an Opel Kadett swap and would like to be under 1900 lbs, so I am interested to see how much yours weighs with the tube chassis

Not necessarily a goal but im making it as light as possible. Lexan instead of glass even. Fiberglass sunroof delete. Aluminum driveshaft etc.
the car stock is 2562, so obviously significantly less than that.

I rarely see cars of this caliber with a 6 speed. Is there a reason your not going auto?

Essentially what u said, not done often. See if cant make some waves in the stick shift world. My local track has some class racing for just manuals as well. I have a nitrous auto and a turbo auto car already. Can always switch it over if i need to down the road.
