I've recently purchased an 06' TBSS with the LS2 & 4L70E setup. My plan is to transplant the powertrain into the 76 c10 shortbox that I'm currently building.


I was curious if anyone has done something similar, and had any advice or tips prior to tackling the project?

Ls truck sites on facebook are really good. I have a 5.3 in my square. Lt1swap.com has good wiring info but I'm not sure on your newer combo. mine is 2002 stuff I have 4L60E. I used shorty headers and mounts off ebay which worked great for mine. U have to check on block below header a casting that may need ground on a little for header to fit head flat.
