Default I need to know what all I'll need to put a 98 corvette ls1 into a 91 Silverado

700r4 transmission. i know the motor id drive by wire. I plan on changing the throttle body. I need to know what all I'll need to get before I get started with the swap.

I know you don't want to hear this, but...sell the 700 and get a 4l60e.

I have never been to the aforementioned site. I am sure these guys are right on with the suggestion though.

However, I am curious if you already have the LS1? If so thats cool. If not, have you considered the iron LS family of engines? They are substantially cheaper and you can get the benefits of larger displacement, better heads, and better intakes on some of the newer truck motors.

As for drive by wire... Its actually incredibly EASY to stay with it. The Corvette pedal assembly (includes the position sensor) is really cheap and wiring it in is no harder then wiring in any of the other parts of the harness.

Oh and as these guys said. Sell the 700
