Default LS1 swap - Exhaust manifolds

I was wondering how many different manifolds are available for the LS1. I need a set that will tuck in close to the block on both sides as clearance on my car is tight. What would you recomend or should I just build a set of headers? Thanks in advance.

Somewhere around here there's a thread where we tried to compile which exhaust manifolds everyone was using. A quick search should yield it.

In general, you can use anything from a Gen3 small block engine. 98+ F-body, 97+ Corvette, 99+ trucks and SUVs. For real headers, it's a crapshoot. You kinda just have to see if it'll fit in your particular application. Maybe someone's done a Monza and can help you out, I dunno. (BTW, my mom had a '78 Monza when I was little. I think the person she sold it to was going to put a small block in it, but that was in the early 80s.)

I would put long tube headers on it for more power
