Fired the '69 this weekend!!!
Got her fired Sunday, what a sense of relief!
I was so worried as we tried Saturday with no luck, Sunday we tried again scanned the PCM and did tests for spark and fuel. Diagnosed the problems, as soon as we fixed them, the LS1 came to life right away. I am so freaking happy right now!!
Problems: We had the ignition wired up wrong, John at Speartech clarified that, and the fuel lines were mixed up at the regulator, there were no instructions with it, or any arrows so we assumed the wrong inlets/outlets. Swapped them and it fired first try!! We had some other electrical gremlins like lights etc, but we took care of that.
The thing sounds mean as hell, of course with open headers and the cam lope was shaking my whole house!
I have some videos, but don't know how to post them.
It's going to the shop Tuesday to have the suspension done (lowered, alignment etc), exhaust/intake built and frame connectors installed as well as other things. When I get it back it should be ready for some shakedown runs!
Thanks for all the help and support! This site helped out ALOT!
