Default My LS1 wiring harness.

Harness was re-wired by a perftrucks sponsor, Jesse. PM me for contact info.
note that there is no MAF connector lead, i requested a SD tune.

I have 7 small hookup wires, without fans it would be 5.

all connections are labeled, and harness is clean. I'm very impressed.

The only problem is that he's so busy it takes a little while for him to get back to you, calling him is almost out of the question but he'll respond to your questions and request.

I'm very impressed with the harness and also the wiring diagram printouts he includes when he send the harness back to you.

ditto. i've already used the wiring diagram twice, never thought i'd need it. . $XXX shipped (when you send in a factory harness/pcm) and for me he stayed in touch very well. Returned all my emails within 12 hrs.. and hannah shipped it out the same day they finished it. I'm extremely impressed. If Joseph or other mod says it's ok, i'll list the company info, until then, just PM me.

I purchased EFI Live commercial from Jesse and he sold me a spare PCM programmed with stock tune for $XXX. Him and Hannah were great to deal with...

I would also like a SD tune but have not been able to find much info about.

Olly, are you running a 98 LS1? I am asking because of the alternator inline resistor?

There are no fuses or relays? Doesn't look like a very good idea to me.
I think there are actually better deals out there to be honest.
Just search around, a number of companies, including the sponsors of this site, offer to modify harnesses for around $350 or so and include all of the fuses and relays needed for Starter, Fans, A/C, Etc.

Maybe he has other plans?
I am still fighting with myself if it makes sense to put all the "rights" into the hand of the PCM?
A stand alone relay set up might be the choice for some here...???

It was often discussed what to delete and how a harness should be set up, maybe someone can chime in with some new ideas...???

Someone running a motec display or similar?

Well considering the price was including a PCM flash I wouldn't say that is a better deal. I can go buy the relays and fuses for under $30. The best deal would be to do it yourself, but that can get rather intimidating when the harness is strewn across the floor. I've been looking into Jesse's services and think it is a great deal. I can handle wiring up the relays/fuses myself. Get a underhood fues panel from a FWD 3.8L grand prix or something similar and rework it. I haven't done this yet, but have read it works good.

Guys,
Wait4me is not an LS1Tech sponsor. He chooses to sponsor PerformanceTrucks.net but not LS1Tech. In the past, we have allowed discussions about Jess and his work but have been deleting links to his site. You can talk about his work but links and/or pricing information is not allowed, especially when we have at least two sponsors who do the same work. I'm sure that Jess does good work but the fact of the matter is that we have a duty to our sponsors. They pay a monthly fee for the right to advertise on the site. These fees pay the bills and allow LS1Tech to exist at no charge for all users. We ask that you respect this policy.

Thank you,
The Conversions & Hybrids Moderation Staff

Those were not links to his site, but they were not sponsor links. Guys please don't paste non-sponsor links, so we can still talk about Jesse.

I'll fuse the main power wire, i've already got a remote relay by the fuel pump, and I've already got fused fan relays. It's got all I need. I never had the complete donor harness in the first place, so I didnt have a modern fuse box in the first place, and if I'm a little intimidated by the one inch thick bundle of wires i'll get if i pull one out of a junkyard car. I might step up to the painless harness for my whole car and tie this one into that, until then, this one's perfect. Does anyone know how to rig up the relays for the fans? If the signal from the PCM is a ground, do I just switch the power and ground wires on the relay?

On the harness I got from Speartech, there were two wires for the fan relay(I only have one fan triggered by the ECU). One, pink, went to the signal terminal (86) on the relay and the other, green, went to the ground terminal (85) on the relay. Works perfect.
