GTO oil pan , oil sandwich adapter..help
Hi guys,
I ordered the standard LS1 oil sandwich adapter, but its a larger diameter than the oil filter 0-ring area on the GTO oil pan...so its useless....
anyone know where I can locate a sandwich adapter specifically for the GTO oil pan?
(using it to branch off for an oil cooler)

digging up an old thread, but NEITHER of the adapters that lingenfelter sells fits the GTO pan. they make the one you pictured which specifically says on their site "will not fit GTO" and they also sell a version just for adding an oil temp gauge. as i found out the hard way, it will also not fit the GTO pan (it hangs on a small lip above the filter itself and will not seal). on top of that, the studs that hold on the stock cap are very long (5 or so inches) and go into the pan pretty deep, i assume to hold those internal oil tubes that run inside the pan.

ive been trying to figure this one out for a while as well. i was thinking of just plumbing out the rear holes on the back of the pan that are already drilled and tapped but they are small.
